. Factories of Light
I've been collaborating with Ottawa filmmaker Pixie Cram on
pre-production for her film "Factories of Light" which will
commence filming in July of 2006.

. SAT show
This Friday and Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd,
I'll be performing at the SAT, 1195 boulevard Saint-Laurent,
as part of a trio making ambient music and beats following
a multimedia presentation called "Les constellations dynamiques"
Doors are at 8:30; our set should be at around 10.
We've written a bunch of original music for the show --
come on down and check it out.

My track "Tuesday" from LP2004 was aired last night,
and I believe it will be re-run tomorrow (November 29)
between 10pm and midnight, on Mix 96.

. Moondata CDs are in
The cool dudes at Moondata have been putting on
live experimental improv shows for years and I've been
honored to perform a few times with them.
They're launching a new record label, Moondata Records,
whose first release is Satellite: LABprojects 2003-2005,
a collection of recordings from the series. I'm
featured on track 8 on acoustic guitar.
The listening party is on Wednesday September 14, 8pm
at O Patro Vys, 356 Mont Royal East, Montreal.
I'll be there so drop in and say hello.
The official CD Release is on
Saturday September 24, at 9pm at the Main Hall,
5390 St. Laurent, Montreal.
It's a double CD launch with P-Love's "All Up In Your Mind"

The show went on relatively hitch-free last week.
Particularly enjoyable was the duet between
Nick Williams (bansuri) and Shankar (tabla).

I spun the before and after dj sets; got a chance
to drop my favourite track this summer,
"Saviour" by Klute.
On the subject of breakbeats and the Amen break in
particular, check out this art piece which traces the
history of the Amen from its first release in 1969.
