I believe that inspiration, while requiring an incubation period, strikes best
in the moment.  One of my life-long goals is to enter into the stream of
music and capture a moment's inspiration as directly as possible.

What can MANIFEST pre-production do for me?

I'll start with your song, songs, or song ideas, along with a verbal description
of your goals / directions influences (perhaps augmented by reference material
of a 'sound' or 'feel' that you're looking for). 

In a relatively short period of time I'll respond with a fleshed-out version of the song
with the sound of a full band arrangement -- bass tracks, drums / percussion, rhythm guitar,
lead sections if desired: the works.  I arrange and record these parts in my home studio.

What if I have musical ideas only, no complete song ideas?

I'm also comfortable and familiar with projects along the lines of "I need [some amount] of music
that sounds like [something] but then at [a certain time] it changes to [something else]".

Having worked with many people: musicians, producers, music enthusiasts, visual artists,
dancers, I have experience communicating musical ideas with just about anyone. 
Once I came up with a bass line for a Steel Drum ensemble recording based
on the director humming / singing his ideas to me.

What comes next?

Next, we begin a back-and-forth exchange, honing the songs until they are exactly
as you hear them in your head.  I'll provide daily updated tracks reflecting
the changes we discuss.

And the final step?

After pre-production, it's time to take the project to the stage or into
professionally-recorded form.  Through the years I have acquired contacts and
become friends with people involved in just about every stage of studio recording and
live presentation, from studio and venue owners to stage hands and engineers,
and of course with musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds. 

I can point you in the right direction to bring the polished project to the world,
and/or be involved in this process to any degree, be it as a performer,
or in leading rehearsals / sessions with the group.

In many cases the tracks we come up with together will be the final product --
for radio, tv or film, the recordings will in a standard, high-quality format,
on CD or in digital tracks, as is your preference.

If needed I'll also provide a written outline of the musical arrangements:
a detailed chart for the musicians who will ultimately perform
the parts live or in studio.
