T h e   A r b o r e a l   Q u a r t e t

Since January 2008 I've been writing and arranging original
music for a unique quartet consisting of acoustic guitar, drums, bass,
and sarode.

 The players have been assembled:

Tom Eliosoff - Acoustic Guitar
Fernando Gelso - Drums
J. F. Martins -  Bass

Our first performance is on January 17, 2009.

P r e m  U n i t e d - live performance
my roles - arranger, track creation, performer

Prem United is a cultural talent agency which focusses on South Asian
music.  I have been creating original mixes of Bollywood, Chutney
(Trinidadian pop) and related songs for live performance.  

One of Prem's first musical projects, "Chutney Jugal Bandi,"
performed at the 2007 Montreal International Reggae Festival
and at the Lion d'Or inMontreal.  In Fall/2007 they were interviewed
and performed live on Radio Canada International's
"The Link" with Marc Montgomery.


I n t o  t h e  H e a r t  -  CD recording project / live performance
   my roles  -  arranger, studio musician

Angela Zawada, the founder of this project,  provided me with a recording of
ten songs with guitar and voice.  I arranged the ten tracks for a full band.
A demo CD of three songs was recorded in the summer of 2007.

T h e  F a c t o r y  o f  L i g h t  - an original short film by Pixie Cram
                             my roles - composer, arranger, performer  
    
I arranged and composed music for the film, and appeared in one scene
with a quartet (playing one of my compositions).  A DVD of the film is currently
being prepared. Screenings were accompanied by a live band performance.
